I've been away

I figured I should give at least a short update as to my adventures as I know it has been a long time since I have updated. Well, I got back to the states alright. The flight was long, but that was expected. I spent a day or so in the pacific northwest before I went back to the airport and flew out to my sister's wedding. It was so much fun and I am so happy for her. I have some funny stories about the wedding, but I am just too lazy to write them right now. (I want to get back to relaxing and reading Harry Potter!) I was in Wyoming for a week then I flew back and got all packed for camp, which also included driving down to Eugene. So I got all packed and the next morning and headed up to camp to start my first double session. The session was interesting and stressful due to adjusting to all the new staff and being back at camp and getting used to all the new procedures for doing things. Let me just say that I was glad to have a night off and have the session end. Next session, which starts tomorrow should be much better now that I know what to expect. So in a nutshell that is what I have been up to. Since this is my first summer with a livejournal I am not sure how much I am going to be updating since there is no computer that we can use for personal use at campand, as I said, I am at my aunt's house right now. But I will try and update.

I also have some really exciting news. Well, while my parents drive to the wedding I flew and got back sooner so I had a car to get things ready and get up to camp. Well, they came up this weekend (the just left actually) and drove my grandma's car up here. Basically, they bought her car from my uncle and are giving it to me. So now I have a car and am not dependent on public transportation or other people to get me places!!!! I am so excited. So now I will be cruising in a Buick Regal. Yes it is an old lady's car, but I really don't care. I no longer have to burden people or arrange my scheduale around things. I can also get a job when i am back in eugene with more variety in my hours and one that is not on the bus line. This is just really cool. :)

Well, I want to get back to my lounging and reading Harry Potter before I meet up with friends around 7 pm tonight. I hope everyone is well, I and I will try to updated at least occasionally this summer.
